Mapping stop bars - from launching the simulator to submitting the map.
Choose your map

Start with the scenery you use.

Base airport map

The web editor uses the X-Plane Gateway airport layout. EuroScope displays this map too.

Open the map editor

MSFS or add-on scenery

Load the airport in your simulator and start contribution mode there. This keeps your corrections tied to that scenery.

Contribution setup
1

Sign in and choose the airport

Use your XPGuard account. New accounts use VATSIM sign-in. Check the airport and scenery before editing.

2

Adjust the lights

Place the bars on the holding markings. Check their endpoints and direction. Add mapped light features where needed.

3

Check in the simulator

Use contribution mode to preview the map. Check each position against the scenery you are submitting.

4

Submit for review

Explain what you changed. Mention missing or unclear markings. Your map is published after review.

REL rows are placed by moderators for now. When armed by ATC, their lights respond to traffic. THL does not need a separate row drawn here.

Moderation

Review contributions for your region.

Country-scoped moderators check and publish the community's stop-bar maps. Apply in our Discord's #moderation-request channel - every application is verified with your vACC.
