The settings.json file
Section titled “The settings.json file”- Located next to the
XPGuardES.dll. - Save it while EuroScope runs: XPGuard reads it within about two seconds.
.xpg reloadalso reads it. - If the file has an error, the chat names the line and column. XPGuard does not write to the file until you fix it.
- A value XPGuard cannot use is named in the chat, and its default is used.
Your token is not in settings.json. It is in xpguard-token.txt, next to the XPGuardES.dll. Keep that file
private. A token from an older settings.json moves there by itself.
vACCs: you can ship settings.json in your sector package. Never ship xpguard-token.txt, and do not delete
it when you update the package: then your controllers stay linked.
Some appearance keys are hand-edited only. Colors are [r,g,b] (0-255) or "#RRGGBB".

Stop bar and IHP colors
Section titled “Stop bar and IHP colors”Each color entry has a color and a brightness:
color:nullkeeps the style’s own color.brightness: 10-100 %. It dims the whole bar, including the style’s own details and the glow. It adds to the apron fade.
barColors has one block per bar style: line, circle, scandinavian, belgian, hungarian, saab, triangle.
A block changes only its own style, so SAAB can keep its gray while Hungarian keeps its green. A style keeps
its own outline and body details.
"barColors": { "saab": { "on": { "color": "#FF2020", "brightness": 100 }, "off": { "color": [0, 150, 60], "brightness": 60 } }}| Key in a style block | Colors |
